Building the Future

In order to support our community outreach project, we want to make some alterations inside the church: to create more space for different activities, put in a kitchenette and also a disabled toilet.

Holy Trinity Community Outreach Project provides a warm welcome for all in the community, to give people a chance to make friends and learn new skills. The Meeting Place café runs Monday to Thursday, and there are also craft groups, knit and natter, gardening group, a music workshop and on Thursday afternoons a parent and toddler group. Alterations to the building will make all these activities easier to run, but also give potential for further development, and so we will be able to further help more of the community.

We need another £20,000 to reach our target. Without that, we will not be able to carry out the alterations needed.
Can you help?

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING:

  • Create raised platform at height of existing step
  • Remove three rows of pews to accommodate this
  • Remove concrete platform on existing dais
  • Move and adjust altar rail to the edge of new platform
  • Shorten the existing high altar
  • Relocate the pulpit and lectern
  • Create a kitchenette in the Lady Chapel
  • Create an accessible WC in the flower room
  • Create an access ramp outside door to choir vestry

Donations can be made online or download our leaflet with form to post.
